Synopsis from Channel 5's website:

The Narrow gauge steam operated lines were numerous in Victoria in the first half of the twentieth century.
In this DVD we look at four such lines.
The first is the Colac to Beech Foreast and Crowes line.
This film was shot in 1956 and records the operating of the weekly goods train from Colac to near Weeaproinah. It features on train,shots, lineside and even footage from the cab.
The second railway covered is the Fyansford Cement Works Quarry Railway.
this 3 foot six in gauge line operated in the outskirts of Geelong and featured a variety of industrial locomotives as well as Garratts.
The majority of the footage was shot during open day in 1960..
Thirdly, the famous Puffing Billy Railway is featured in the days when it was operated by the Victorian Railways. There is footage from Upper Ferntree Gully to Belgrave featured.
Our final line is the Mount Llyell Rack Railway in Western Tasmania.
For part of its journey, it employed the abt rack system to assist with adhesion on the steep grades.
