Branchline stocks a wide range of brands of model railway engines.
Motive power (the collective term for anything that propels a train) comes in a
wide number of countries of origin. We stock models of motive power
that imitate the real thing from countries such as Australia, United Kingdom, United states, Japan and Europe.
Various time periods are catered for from original Stephenson’s rocket to ultramodern Japanese bullet trains.
They
come in different scales and gauges and most are for analogue control.
However most if not all are DCC compatible which requires the removal of
a “blanking plug” and then installation of a suitable DCC decoder which
we also stock.
We
also repair and care for model engines so if you are having a problem
with an item bring it in and we can service it for you, if the engine
was purchased from us recently usually at no charge.
